Protocol - The Hub - Grade 3 Ballet
PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO CLASS IF THEY HAVE A TEMPERATURE OR ARE FEELING UNWELL.
- Parents and children to queue outside the main door 2m apart. The staff at the Hub or the teacher will let you know when to come in. The stairs up to the studio are clearly marked indicating you go up on the left and down with those going down having priority. Children should come in alone where possible.
- Children to be dressed ready to dance but with a coat or jumper on.
- They will be shown upstairs where they can put their coat/jumper and outdoor shoes in a plastic bag which they bring with them.
- Children must wear dance trainers, jazz shoes, ballet shoes or clean trainers specifically for their dance classes which they do not wear outside. They can bring their water bottle into class but no other items.
- Once everyone is in, if a dancer needs the toilet they can go one at a time. There is a one-way system in place for this and the toilets are cleaned hourly when the space is in use.
- The bifolding doors in the studio and vents will be kept open for ventilation if weather permits.
- At the end of class the children will change into their outdoor shoes and coat/jumper in their plastic bag and come down to you to be collected from the side door. I will have an allocated rep from each class to ensure children are not left unsupervised during this process. The side door can be found to the left of the building, go around the corner where there is extra parking and you will find it. Please be prompt for pick up and adhere to social distancing.
- All touch points will be cleaned between classes;
- Main doors, shoe boxes, toilet doors, flushes and taps and floors.
- The Hub have been incredible when it comes to following government guidelines and looking after the safety of their dancers so I am confident in our safety using this space.
