Protocol La Scala, Oldfield Park - Primary Show Class
PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO CLASS IF THEY HAVE A TEMPERATURE OR ARE FEELING UNWELL.
- Parents and children to bring their child through the foyer at the front of The Co-op. This door says “please use side door” but that is for Co-op customers, this door is open to us. Please wait in the foyer and adhere to social distancing, including the use of facemarks (for adults) whilst inside the building. Children to be dressed ready to dance but in their outdoor shoes.
- The teacher will come down a little before class to let you know we are ready and you can make your way up. Please arrive for class promptly.
- For class, children must have dance trainers, jazz shoes, ballet shoes or clean trainers specifically for their dance classes which they do not where outside. They cannot dance in socks or bare feet. They will need to bring up their outdoor shoes in a plastic bag to change into after class before coming back down to you.
- They can bring their water bottle into class but no other items.
- The teacher will direct them to their dance space for that day. You can leave via the fire escape near the kitchen and ladies toilets. This will take you back down to the foyer.
- Once everyone is in, if a dancer needs the toilet the assistant will take them one at a time to the toilets.
- At the end of class the children will be brought to you to pick up in the foyer. It would be helpful if they are able to put their outdoor shoes on independently, please consider this when choosing footwear to bring them to dance class (slip on shoes). The side door can be found to your right as you enter the foyer, opposite the stairs. Please be prompt for pick up and adhere to social distancing.
- All touch points will be cleaned between classes;
- Main doors, shoe boxes, toilet doors, flushes and taps and floors.
