OUR STREET DANCE TEACHERS
Xavi
When teaching Street Dance, Xavi is celebrated for his creative approach to the style. In his classes, he weaves the elegance and intricacy of Vogue style with the fiery passion of Dancehall style. Drawing from Vogue, he integrates its five core elements: hands, catwalk, duckwalk, spins/dips, and floor - elements inspired by a diverse range of dance genres, from Modern Dance to Ballet. In addition to this, Xavi infuses the rhythmic pulse of Dancehall, a genre deeply rooted in the dance halls of 1970s Jamaica, evolving from reggae and roots styles, with a distinct emphasis on vibrant hip movements and high energy. Xavi's combined style becomes a dance experience that bridges the subtle artistry of Vogue style with the dynamism of Dancehall. When the elegance and precision of Vogue meet the raw energy of Dancehall, it results in a commercial street dance style, that is fresh and captivating, perfectly suited for the stage and screen.

Steph
Steph has played with many styles of Street and Hip Hop throughout the years and continues to showcase this when teaching. Steph particularly likes to look into the history of Hip Hop grooves such as Bart Simpson, Smurfing, ALT Stomp and many more. This style creates a really strong foundation for students to find their own uniqueness and style on a movement. Allowing the space to play with the grooves and find ways to freestyle through movements. Steph is particularly interested in the history of Street and also likes to incorporate Popping, Locking, Robotics and Animation movement. This style can help add additional dynamic layers to a performance.
TESTIMONIALS
"Fi, thank you for all the hard work. S refused to perform with other dance schools she's been a part of previously but she's really enjoyed street dancing with you and has come out of her shell. We were shocked she did a solo which says a lot about your connection and encouragement with them. Thank you!"

"I can highly recommend this class, My 7yr old son joined and loves it! Thanks Fi for your inspiration"

"I was so impressed with the classes, the girls have improved so much in such a short time with you"
